While living at this farmhouse Lawrence had to travel 21 km to Picton to work at the dry goods store. Lawrence lived at this farmhouse until his death in 1892. His son Solomon continued to live on the property and is listed as owning Lot 1, Concession 1 in Hillier.

I know Lawrence moved around a lot. I wonder how he made these travels.
