LEFT MID SANDAL STRAP - New Keating Channel, Portlands, Nichinggaakokanik / A Good Place for Pines
“I biked from the mouth of the Humber River to the “mouth” of the Don River today. It took 54 minutes.”
I know the Don river was straightened. I wonder what it’s original path was.
I know the Don River was named after a heavily polluted river in Britain. I now know it’s indigenous name is Wonscotonach (in Anishnaabemowin). The Don River area is referred to as Nichinggaakokanik (A good place for pines).
